Cervical mucus: most likely this was some cervical mucus or possibly some thin vaginal mucus which is very common at your stage of pregnancy. Not to worry. Please discuss with your OB provider at your next OB visit. If any cramping, bleeding, or leaking of fluid then you need immediate evaluation. Congratulations and good luck with this pregnancy. Mucus: Pregnant women produce a lot of discharge and it only gets worse the farther along you get. The vagina is a mucous membrane so it makes lots of mucus. Mucous can sometimes be stringy. Its usually not a bad thing unless it itches, has a bad odor or is bloody. Best wishes!
