Here are some ...: Is this new or recurrent, on one side or both? How long did it last and how did it evolve and resolve? All these info are important for a 16-yr man. If you have recurrent one-sided pain with its highly variable onset, degree, duration, interval, evolution, & progress of the pain over time, I would worry about possible intermittent testicular twist with untwist.
