A member asked:

Can post nasal drip cause a slight wheeze/whistle at the end of exhale from drainage? i've never been diagnosed with asthma. could it be post nasal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A mucous plug from postnasal drip can cause slight obstruction to the airway leading to wheeze/whistle. However this would be intermittent, and not constant as it would be in asthma.Once you cleared the obstruction then there should not be a wheeze/whistle
