Should not mix: Grapefruit and statins are not a good combination. The same hold true with Seville oranges (used in orange marmalade) and tangelos. Statins can have severe side effects- so rather than take a chance switch to oranges (not seville) or other fruits. See FDA info below. http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm292276.htm
