Yes: If ovulation is occurring then conception is possible. 42 days is longer than the upper limit of normal for menstrual cycles, so it is possible to have anovulatory bleeding. In that case pregnancy is unlikely.

Yes: Cycles lasting > 35 days b/w periods are not considered normal, and are often related to anovulation (not releasing an egg). However, it is still possible to get pregnant, regardless of how long your cycles are if you ovulate. If you don't want to get pregnant in the near future, see your PCP to start effective contraception. Hormonal contraceptives can prevent pregnancy and regulate your cycles
