First stop worrying: there are many causes of hair loss and stress induced alopecia (or telogen effluvium) is very common. See your dermatologist for lab work, hair evaluation and possible scalp biopsy. worrying will only make it worse, but find out what's going on and how to treat it. Anemia, iron deficiency, ferritin deficiency and thyroid disease can also cause hair loss to name a few
