Don't overdo things: I don't know your overall state of conditioning or how fast you are trying to push from one level to the next in terms of weight training or exercise capacitation. However, be careful with the neck. It can be much more easily sprained than other parts of the body with much less in terms of heavy loads. Stretch well, work up SLOWLY (over period of weeks or even months) increasing load on the neck
