No: A slight variation in cervical dilation is normal and not considered a problem. Cervical exams are not recommended unless medically necessary as frequent exams increase the risk of a uterine infection. Its best to leave this to your Ob as they can be more objective about your situation and the decision when an exam is needed. Best wishes.
