PET/CT: The primary test for staging for breast cancer is the pet/ct scan. A bone scan is also a helpful test if you're concerned about bony disease, and a brain MRI is helpful to look at the head. The sites of distant spread of breast cancer are generally liver, lungs, bone and brain, so these tests are sufficient.
