Check your back: Numbness in the abdominal wall if often related to the superficial nerves which most often related to possible disc in the back. However, trauma, exhaustion during exercise which affect the muscle group in that area could be the reason. If it is down further in the groin, an inguinal hernia could be the cause. You need to be checked by a physician to determin the etiology based on presentation.
