Period started yesterday; has been brown, light & with clots. i had unprotected sex 9 days ago, but he did not ejaculate. possibility of pregnancy?

This is likely your: period. Brown d/c is usually old blood being from the uterus. Even if he didn't ejaculate - there can still be sperm in pre-ejaculate and some early ejaculatory fluid. Although the timing is not ideal for pregnancy - would still take a home pregnancy test if you don't have a definitive period. Always use protection if not ready for pregnancy.
