Herpes type two: Herpes II is by far the most common cause of vaginal sores ("blisters?") and although soaps and lotions can cause irritation and soreness, they do not commonly cause ulcers (blisters). Herpes II is very contagious and can be spread by sex without the partner being aware he/she has active herpes. See your healthcare provider for tests.
