Maybe: A lot of things can cause break thru bleeding on birth control pills but stopping and starting them is not the right way to go.Skipping or taking pills late is a very common cause for break through bleeding and increases the risk of pregnancy.Infections can cause break thru bleeding and it is common when you just start or change pills.Do a pregnancy test to be sure and see your doc to find cause
