Here are some ...: Ordinary antibiotic like amoxacillin will not help heal the outbreak lesions of genital herpes except superimposed celluitis by amoxacillin sensitive bugs but that is very rare. So, don't take amoxacillin for herpex, but using anti-herpes drugs such as ancyclovir (Zovirax), which may shorten herpes course by almost 50% and lessening its recurrence. More? Ask Doc timely.
