A member asked:

I went to the doctor and the doctor said i don't have the herpes virus itself i just have antibodies what's it mean can i still pass it on?i'm lost

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can pass it on: If you have antibodies to herpes, 1 or 2, you were infected with the virus. The virus may be dormant but it remains in the person's body for the rest of her/his life and can be passed on even if there are no visible lesions.
