Usually to classify: a behavior as an addiction - a large amount of time needs to spent doing the activity, making preparations or thinking about. Usually it causes problems in the person's life and they may need to do it progressively more to satisfy their needs. It interferes in other areas of the person's life. Attempts to quit are unsuccessful. This doesn't sound like an addiction.
