Yes if poor control: Diabetes in & of itself won't cause a lot of urination if well/adequately controlled eg sugars less than 200mg/dL. However, one of symptoms leading to new diagnosis of diabetes is frequent urination (polyuria) & excess thirst (polydipsia) due to high blood sugars eg greater than 400. If you're concerned about your symptoms, go see your family doc who can arrange for testing. Good nutrition is key.
