Hmmmm,..: This is probably where a good History and bit of detective work would come in. It is odd for most medical conditions to occur only at a certain time, unless you can find some correlation as to why that is occurring. possible when you lie down, a heat vent is blowing dry air on your eyes causing an allergic, drying irritation-thus the burning at night only, etc. Get a good eye exam for Dx and Tx.
