"tightening": a capsullorrhaphy is a surgical procedure(which can be done arthroscopically or open) where the capsule is imbricated or "tightened" to prevent or treat instability. this can be traumatic i.e. after dislocation or atraumatic i.e. laxity that you are born with or develops over time.

Its the repair of :-: shoulder capsule. Generally done for a shoulder from recurrent dislocations where the capsule gets stretched/longer.
