Polyradiculopathy: is an acquired condition that may present with an acute or chronic clinical course affecting the nerve roots as they exit the brainstem and or spinal cord. Autoimmune and infectious causes predominate. The most common type is the acute presentation (*Guillain Barre Syndrome) affecting the motor roots of the spinal nerves typically producing an ascending paralysis. Google this* and CIDP
