A few thoughts: Inflammation of the pudendal nerve or dorsal nerve of the clitoris, splinter (as from nylon), infection, to name a few.If the cause is not obvious, is severe, or constant, I recommend a visit to your gynecologist.If that does not solve the problem, or not cause is found, I would consider consulting a pain specialist, especially one familiar with peripheral neuropathic pain.
