A member asked:

What are the chances of an iud moving? what should you do if it does?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Small: There is a wide range of positions that the IUD can be present inside the uterus and still have a protective effect. Unless the IUD is in the cervical canal or irregularly imbeded in the wall of the uterus, it can be left behind. best wishes Dr M
