What are murine xenograft models? what are they used for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cancer screening: In order to evaluate the effect of antitumor drugs had syngeneic mouse models were employed where each mouse was genetically similar and the induced mouse tumor could be transplanted to other mice and drugs tested. With genetically immunocompromised mice available human cancer could be transplanted into such mice and these xenograft modwls studied more efficiently.
