What happens to the depo-provera shot if it's left in the heat before injection?

How long?: Guidelines say to store at room temperature away from extremes of cold, heat, and moisture. How long was it in the heat? What temperature? The danger is that it may be inactivated, which would result in a less than perfect birth control. Good luck!
