Compression of nerve: What you are describing could be as a result of compression of a terminal branch of one of the cutaneous nerves that supply the vaginal wall and surrounding skin in the genital region. It is hard to say how that could have happened, however, trauma to that region such as rough sex play or use of a sex toy against the wall could cause this type of neuropathy. My guess is that sensation will return.
