Can i delay my period a week with progesterone, my husband and i are ttc and he works overseas...

Delay of period: So, progesterone used over time can delay or even eliminate ovulation and your period - this is the active ingredient in Depo-Provera, Nexplanon, etc. However, starting it for a week probably won't make any difference in your current cycle, and you can still get pregnant. Progesterone pills are also more "finnicky" than regular OCPs, you must take them at the same time each day. Good luck!
