Migraine headaches: are often accompanied by vomiting which then ends the headache. This is due to a complex and poorly understood interaction between the enteric nervous system and the factors involved in migraine headache.

Family doc or GI doc: Your general family medicine doctor or internist can usually handle a complaint of vomiting. If a specialist is needed they would refer you to a gastroenterologist.

Vomiting a lot: We will need more information to be helpful. With vomiting at that frequency (every meal for 1 year), we need to know if you have lost weight, how much, and whether you have had an blood tests done (you would expect sodium or potassium, and possible kidney function to be off). That said, most common causes include acid reflux with hiatal hernia, or severe stress.
