Cardiac not likely: If you can reproduce the pain by pressing on the ribs, then it's likely not cardiac but rather coming from the bone, cartilage and soft tissue in that area. Did you exercise recently using muscles in that area? Did you sleep on that side? It might be traumatic or just inflammatory (random). Alternate ice / heat to the area and consider anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen with food for 1-2 days.
