No: Paracetamol is sold in States as Acetaminophen. It is not nephrotoxic (dangerous to kidneys) but rather hepatotoxic (dangerous to liver) when taken in high doses, whether once or over a period of time. In States, we've lowered maximum daily dose to 4,000mg in those who do no consume alcohol or have other liver issues. In elderly, limit is 3,000mg/d. This drug is found commonly in many OTC drugs.
