Pregnancy test: If you wait too long, perhaps over 10 minutes, to read your HPT, the urine dries and can leave a faint grey line. A faint line seen at the recommended time for the test indicates the presence of betaHCG in the urine and possible pregnancy. If you had a faint positive result, wait a couple of days and repeat the test. If still only slight positive, see your doctor for a blood test.
