No need to hold pee: If you have to urinate, then you should do so. However, the best time to take the test would be your first urination in the morning. Urine pregnancy tests are pretty sensitive nowadays. If pregnancy is a concern and the test is negative, you can test again in 2 or 3 days as hormone levels for BhCG increase rapidly during the first days of pregnancy.
