What are the dangers of massage to acute soft tissue injury and circulatory disorders?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No danger if appropr: Massage therapy is not generally recommended in acute soft tissue injury. Massage could be done to the rest of the body including lymphatic drainage massage . For circulatory disorders it is a very good healing method. Massage therapy is a form of physical therapy and the same rule applies here- patient should have comfortable, pleasant, feeling.
