A member asked:

Is chronic disease management considered a particular specialty of nursing ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: Nurses may get specialized training and develop expert-level knowledge and experience in chronic disease management, but there is not one universal certification or national exam for nurses in this area. A good, attentive nurse can be a tremendous ally in managing any chronic health issue!
