Sometimes: Sometimes you ovulate as soon as the next month after stopping pills and some studies even show increased fertility in the first months after stopping. However, you can also have a delay in the return to ovulation and there is a disorder called post-pill amenorrhea in which it can take up to 1 year to start having periods again.
