Could be infected: It sounds like her piercing could be infected. I strongly recommend a medical provider take a look at her piercing to see whether she needs antibiotics or not.

Pain after piercing: can be a symptom of infection. Cellulitis from body piercings can be very serious, so a visit to the doctor would be very wise.
