Ichial bursitis: Sounds like ischial bursitis which is an inflamation of the bursa (fluid sac) between the hamstring and the ischial bone in the buttock. Sometimes a cortisone injection can be very helpful along with some measures to decrease pressure in this area. We use xray or ultrasound to guide this injection.
