My period has always lasted 7-8 days. i got my period on time but it has been very light and only lasted 4 days. i took a test but it's neg. now what?

Observation: It is common for the nature of a woman's period to change with time. You may just be experiencing that normal variation in your cycle. What you describe is very common and is normal.

Reassuring: Unlikely you are pregnant given you had a period. sometimes periods can fluctuate due to hormone changes. See your doctor if there is more concern. Feel good.

Very common: periods can vary in terms of length of time you bleed, onset of bleeding, how much you bleed. VERY few women have same onset, length and amount every cycle. Not to worry at this point.
