A member asked:

What does it mean when you have traces of blood in urine? how can that go away? how dangerous is it???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood in urine: Blood in the urine is not normal and should be evaluated. Possible causes include infection, stones, blood disorders, trauma and tumors. Sometimes, urine dipstick tests are very sensitive and will register "trace" blood, and the result may not be clinically significant. Your doctor can help sort this out.
