Skin color: This an indication of purpura (blood under the skin). As a patient ages, the skin thins, and this can be a normal phenomenon, especially if the patient is on blood thinners, aspirin, nsaids, vitamin E , garlic, fish oil, etc. However, this would not be normal in younger patients.
