See doctor STD check: Brown vaginal discharge can be old blood, and for 1-2 days, it might just be the tail end of your period. However, 7 days is a long time and brown also can mean an infection. You should see your doctor to be evaluated for infections, including STDs like gonorrhea and chlamydia, and vaginal infections like trichomonas and bacterial vaginosis (although BV discharge usually is white).
