Toothache remedies: There is nothing you can do except get to a dentist for help ASAP. Until you see your dentist you can take temporary pain relievers. Alternate NSAID (Advil) with Tylenol (acetaminophen) for moderate to severe pain. Do not place an aspirin in the painful area on the gum. See a dentist ASAP.
