Use the Copper IUD: The Copper IUD, which means intra-uterine device, is safe to use and results in 99% efficacy birth control with no hormones. It is also called Paragard. It is placed in the uterus through the cervix, and causes a local inflammation inside the uterus that results in a thick fluid that sperm cannot penetrate. Paragard can left in place for ten years without having to remove it. No hormones.
