Probably not: If the pill is taken correctly, it is 99% effective at birth control by preventing ovulation. If you aremissing a lot of doses, it is possible that you are ovulating. When you first start the pill it takes about 3 months to regulate your period. If you just started the pill, you may want to take a pregnancy test.
