That can happen: Her taking PlanB 12 hrs from when you had sex is within the appropriate time frame in which to take that med. Irregular bleeding & cramps can occur after taking Plan B. Obviously, pregnancy (normal or ectopic) needs to be ruled-out, so a home pregnancy test is appropriate. While she may take Motrin, Advil or Aleve (naproxen) for cramps, severe pain with or without bleeding, needs to be evaluated by a GYN.
