Get it checked: Some people get an inflammation of their sweat glands called hydradenitis suppuitiva. Treatment may be local drainage, antibiotics, and wound care. Sometimes the glands must be removed to effect a cure.

Hidradenitis?: What you're describing sounds like hidradenitis suppurativa, which is a form of acne affecting the sweat glands in the arm pits, groin and other areas. It can be very debilitating and often requires surgery to remove the affected skin. She needs to see her doc to be evaluated and treated. This is an excellent synopsis by dr. David miller.
