A member asked:

I get blood stained cervical mucus a couple of times a week. i am 5 years post menopasal. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Work up needed: Post-menopausal bleeding always deserves a work-up . It may be due to a simple cause such as medication/Hormone replacement but a detailed history and exam are needed and possibly more in depth testing at a GYN office. You don't want to miss something serious like endometrial cancer but if it is something less concerning then you can be reassured.
