It is not uncommon: To have cycle irregularity and even a significant delay in returning to regular menstrual cycles once you discontinue oral contraception. That said, you may still become pregnant without using protection. If you are hoping to become pregnant that's fine, but if not, you will have to make alternative plans to prevent pregnancy.
