A member asked:

Blood results came back with really high testosterone (59.7 nmol/l) and shbg levels (73 nmol/l). anything i should be worried about?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No worries if....: If your testosterone levels are normal naturally, the elevation is not of great concern. On the other hand if you are using injectable or topical testosterone increased levels can lead to thickened blood in risk of stroke. The other time when high levels of testosterone are concerning are the times when the patient is experiencing symptoms.
