No: There is no reason to douche or "clean your vagina" unless you have been specifically told to do so by your gynecologist or doctor. Our bodies evolved this way long before there were ads for feminine hygiene products. i might add that you can re-assure your boyfriend that he doesn't have to clean his penis any more than he does in the shower. He needs to get over his shock.
