Conception optimum: Women ovulate two weeks before they come on their next menstrual period. In what are considered "normal" menstrual cycles this would happen between day 10 and day 18 of a menstrual cycle. If a menstrual period started on Sept 30, then October 6 would by day six, and only considering that male sperm may survive for 4 days this intercourse could result in conception.

Possible: Time of ovulation is difficult to determine precisely, so unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy.
